publication in early September 2005 along with copies
of my new “How to Draw and Paint Fairies” which is due

This book is aimed at those of you who would love to paint and
draw their very own fairies. It covers all aspects of fairy, how
to get inspiration, where they live, how to draw fairies from scratch
and a special section on fairy fashion and accessories. The book
is divided into four sections and is aimed at helping artists of all
skill levels, with lots of different drawing and painting techniques,
which readers can try themselves together with some larger step
-by-step sequences in which to try out the techniques. The book
also includes and inspirational gallery of artworks which should spark
the imagination of all lovers of the Fae.

them, other ethereal creatures seem to get in
the way…here’s one I did quite recently though.

I will make sure that it coincides with the release of the book, so
that everyone can get a taster of “How to draw and paint fairies”…

of Fairy and how to paint them.

Introducing
“FLOWER FAIRY ZODIAC”

The twelve signs of the Zodiac, painted by Linda Ravenscroft, each
fairy has typical characteristics which are present in their given birth
sign along with the corresponding flowers which also represent the
same sign. Underneath each of the fairies is a Zodiac symbol painted
in Celtic fashion showing the astrological image in its symbolic form.
