The Marked One

I recently had a tattoo. Not for vanity,(well maybe a little) but as a rite of passage, a symbol of what I now was. After many years of doing jobs I hated, I was now finally doing what I had been born to do….So, I decided to have something permanent to remind me of how far I had come and that there was no going back, no matter what.. This painting is about a faerie who also knows who she is; one of the wise ones, her tattoos are symbols of her past, present and future, and her dedication to Nature.
