Description
These are portraits of a very special Little girl, such a tragic tale but full of LOVE – I am sure that her Mother won’t mind my sharing it with you
Shauna was born a happy healthy baby, and was left badly injured after her birth mothers boyfriend was babysitting, he lost his temper and shook her so violently he broke her arm and left her blind and in a coma, he was jailed for only three years. Shauna was left in a terriible way and needed full time round the clock care, thankfully she was adopted by a very loving couple Dafydd and Janice Griffiths who cherished and cared for her until her death at the age of only seven…It was her new Mother Janice who asked me to create these very special portrats of this brave little girl – and I was very honoured to do so.
We included some of her favourite things, ladybirds, flowers, songbirds etc – both paintings are completely different in colour and medium, one is a watercolour (soft pinks and blues) and the other acrylic mixed media (red dress)
