Description
Halcyon days – Kingfisher – one of those magical sights of the summer, if you ever catch a glimps or a flash of colour as the kingfisher works though his day..these halcyon days are becoming a thing of the past with the changing of the climate…cling on to them whilst we can.
Linda has always loved and respected all things in Nature, the fae are guardians of the natural world we live in, so its not a surprise to find that Linda has been painting wildlife and botanical pieces for many years.
Now for the first time, Linda is sharing her conservation art “The vanishing series” the pieces are painted in mixed media, acrylic, inks and watercolours creating a wonderful contemporary piece of art.
Each piece depicts only part of an animal/insect or flower, as if the animals and plants are slowly being erased from the world,, the tendrils/roots show how they are clinging on to life.
Reminding us that ALL life is precious and should be saved before it is too late…please enjoy “THE VANISHING SERIES”.
